Boost your global trade potential with UKTI Export Week this May
 

From 18 to 22 May, UK Trade & Investment’s Export Week will take place across Britain. UKTI is the department of the British government which helps businesses trade internationally through practical guides, an overseas network and support from the UKTI trade advisers.

Export Week is specifically designed to help British businesses grow their global reach. Sessions will take place across the UK, with some focused on opportunities in specific markets (including Eastern Europe); others will discuss topics such as navigating international intellectual property laws and provide sector-specific advice.

Tanzania: a promising emerging trade partner for British business
 

Tanzania is currently the ninth-largest economy in sub-Saharan Africa and has experienced 6 to 7.8 per cent GDP growth every year since 2001.

The country is planning a US$14.2 billion rail network building programme, which will be the single biggest project ever to be implemented by the Tanzanian government since the country gained independence in 1961. Click here to read more.

With these plans to improve the country’s transportation network, and additional projects to upgrade Tanzania’s communications infrastructure and education system to come, Tanzania is set to be a promising emerging market with extensive opportunities for trade.
