UK trade agreement with six African nations

The UK has initialled an Economic Partnership Agreement with the Southern African Customs Union and Mozambique. The agreement will allow British businesses to continue trading to the nations even after leaving the European Union.

International Trade Secretary Liz Truss said: “This is a major milestone as the UK prepares to become an independent trading nation once again, and we are helping businesses get ready to trade with the most exciting markets around the world.”

DHL Fashion Potential Award 2019 Winner

This week the four DHL Fashion Potential Award finalists met a judging panel at London Fashion Week to present their final business plans for their chance to win £20,000 to support them on their global journey.

After much deliberation from our expert judges, including Steve Hewitt, Becky Lombardo, Yvie Hutton and Abi Brodie, we are thrilled to announce NAECO as this year’s Award winner.

NAECO follows in the footsteps of previous winners RIXO, founded by vintage lovers Henrietta Rix & Orlagh McCloskey and HADES, the classic British Knitwear brand handcrafted in Scotland and designed by Cassie Holland.
