UK signs trade agreement with Colombia, Ecuador and Peru
The United Kingdom has signed a UK-Andean Countries Trade Agreement which will help protect a trade flow of £2.1 billion. Between 2008 and 2018, UK exports of goods and services to Colombia, Peru and Ecuador grew by 58 per cent and this agreement will allow businesses to continue to trade freely without any additional barriers or tariffs.
The Minister for Trade Policy, George Hollingbery, commented on the assurance this will bring UK businesses trading with the region: “Businesses will be able to continue trading like they do today after we leave the EU, with consumers and investors continuing to enjoy the benefits.”See more
UK space exports are out of this world
UK space exports are set to grow to £25 billion in the next decade and make up 60 per cent of the UK’s space sector revenue by 2030. Growing demand is being met by companies such as Oxford Space Systems (OSS), who are finding 70 per cent of their business is coming from the United States.
