Latest ONS figures show upswing in UK trade
The latest ONS Trade figures reveal a welcome increase in the rate of UK exports to the EU and the rest of the world.
UK goods exports have increased by 8.1% (£1.2bn) to the EU and by 6.5% (£0.9bn) to the rest of the world, with key exports including machinery, transport equipment and fuels. Imports from the EU also increased by 4.2% in April which was driven by trade in machinery, transport equipment and chemicals.Learn more
