New export hotline and online service launched for UK businesses
Last week the UK government launched its Export Support Service, a free-to-use helpline that will provide phone and online support to British businesses. This ‘one-stop shop’ service will offer quick access to UK government information, making it easier for them to export to the rest of Europe, a key destination for high-quality UK goods and services that was worth £288 billion in 2020.
International Trade Secretary, Anne-Marie Trevelyan, said: “We are focused on helping exporters fulfil their potential. Having a dedicated export support team at the end of a phone ready to help will ensure they can access the information they need, and get on with the job of selling their world-class products and services abroad, in turn helping the UK to build back better.”Read more
