Webinars from DIT to boost support for SMEs
The Department for International Trade (DIT) plans to host a series of 100 free coronavirus webinars for SMEs across the UK. The webinars will focus on practical advice for businesses who are trading internationally.
The Secretary of State for International Trade, Liz Truss, said: “These sessions provide an essential service to help address the concerns we have heard from businesses across the country over the last few weeks.”
Topics to look out for include; managing distribution of supply chains and movement of goods and support for selling online overseas.Find out more

Coronavirus 'will hasten the decline of cash'
Experts say coronavirus will speed up the decline in the use of cash as more people move to make a long-term switch to digital payments.
A survey of consumers conducted by Link, the UK’s largest cash machine network, suggested that 75% of people were using less cash, and 54% of those asked said they were avoiding cash.
Since the lockdown, payment card use has risen through online shopping with noticeable increase in certain sectors such as groceries.See more
