International demand for British health supplements grows
With consumers becoming increasingly health conscious all around the world, UK health and wellness businesses are benefiting from the health and wellbeing trend. Lancashire-based Private Label Nutrition has seen a 75 per cent increase in overseas sales in the last 12 months.
James Wilson, Director at Private Label Nutrition said: “The Middle East is our biggest growth market and in the last 12 months we have seen a 35 per cent increase in exports to the Gulf Cooperation Council.”Read more
Trade Minister champions UK SMEs
The International Trade Minister, Conor Burns, met with business and industry leaders in Texas to discuss the benefits of a future UK-US Free Trade Agreement and promote British SMEs overseas. Discussions were focused on strengthening trade and investment ties between the UK and Texas, worth almost $14 billion in 2018.
