New deals to support Jordanian economy
New commercial agreements between the UK and Jordan aim to increase bilateral trade between the two countries and strengthen Jordan’s economy, ensuring jobs, growth and opportunity. The UK Department for International Trade has announced it will place a trade expert in the Jordanian Embassy to support British companies hoping to export there.
International Trade Secretary Dr Liam Fox commented on the UK’s continuing support for Jordan. “These commercial agreements demonstrate the already close trade and investment links between the UK and Jordan, supporting HM King Abdullah II’s ambitious vision for reform and long-term, sustainable growth.”Read more
