What did Black Friday 2020 look like?

It’s no surprise that shoppers turned to the internet to snap up unbeatable bargains on Black Friday, prompting a huge surge in online sales. The impact of staying indoors meant that e-commerce and click-and-collect services were at an all-time high last weekend.

Joint Committee strengthens trade ties between the UK and Malaysia

In the first meeting of its kind between the UK and Malaysia, the two countries have set up working groups to boost cooperation for future bilateral trade and investment. Areas of particular interest to the UK include legal services, wines and spirits, and education.

Her Majesty’s Trade Commissioner for Asia Pacific, Natalie Black CBE, said that the Joint Committee aims to create new opportunities for businesses in both countries and has the potential for “significant further growth”.
