Greece-Eurozone deal | Online retail in Asia | E-commerce & Germany

Greece to stay in Eurozone

After lengthy talks, Eurozone leaders agreed to offer up to €86 billion (£61 billion) of support to Greece over three years.

If the deal is concluded, it would likely increase financial stability in Greece and the Eurozone as a whole, which is welcome news for British businesses looking to trade with these markets.

Following the announcement, European Commission chief Jean-Claude Juncker said that the risk of Greece leaving the Eurozone had now been averted. French President Francois Hollande added that it had allowed Europe to “preserve integrity and solidarity.”

Due to a rising young population and easy internet accessibility, Vietnam has been identified as a particularly promising country for e-commerce to thrive.

Vicky Tseng, COO of PChome eBay Co. Ltd, highlighted that establishing new trade routes through Asia will also help fulfill the trend. She says that “E-commerce is the future, and Asia will be at the heart of the global e-commerce network considering its role in both manufacturing and consumption”.
