UKTI Export Hub roadshow tours Britain to inspire exporters

As part of Exporting is GREAT – the five-year international trade initiative from the UK government – UK Trade & Investment’s Export Hub truck will tour the UK until October 2016.

UKTI Exporting is GREAT

UKTI’s trade initiative aims to inspire and support 100,000 more UK companies to sell their goods and services overseas by 2020. The Export Hub is a fantastic advice and guidance resource for British businesses looking to expand internationally through global trade.

The Export Hub truck will tour destinations across the UK, including local exhibitions, fairs and business events, industrial estates, science parks and city centres.

More than a truck, the Export Hub is a flexible space that can be used for seminars, workshops and meetings.

Advisors are on hand to provide guidance on target market insights, including tips on researching and entering specific markets and practical international trade advice on banking, freight and logistics. The advisors can also give suggestions to entrepreneurs on how to innovate their businesses, and how to use cross border e-commerce to go further.

The Export Hub also includes a Skype room where UK-based businesses can connect directly with UKTI’s network of overseas advisors to give market-specific guidance.

Since its launch, the Export Hub has already been in Manchester; Bradford and Leeds; and will start its Scotland tour on 29 February.
