Quarterly International Trade Outlook for Q4 2016
 
The British Chambers of Commerce, in partnership with DHL, has launched its Quarterly International Trade Outlook for Q4 – October to December – 2016.
 
Ian Wilson, CEO DHL Express UK and Ireland says “The uncertainty in the UK surrounding Brexit is far from over. Many questions remain unanswered, but UK exporters continue to be undeterred in their ambition to take their products and services overseas.”

Economic forecasting reports better UK borrowing and growth
 
According to a report by the economic forecasting group EY Item Club, Britain’s economic growth and borrowing levels will be better than previously expected when the chancellor announces the Spring Budget on 8 March.
 
Martin Beck, senior economic advisor to the EY Item Club says “The OBR will paint a marginally better picture of the UK economy and public finances.” Additionally, EY said it expected a low-key budget for March and possible further announcements on tax-free personal allowance.
